Theists do not know everything so there are really no theists, only agnostics
I don't have to know everything to know there is a God, but as for an atheist they would have to know everything to say there is no God

it seems to me that the atheist is asked to disprove god's existence.
some times these debates have started to get personal with one side attacking the other with insults and i do not want to start another argument like these.. but i dont get it?

right now folks, a lot is happening in the political world.. gordon brown (prime miniter of england) last week gave a speech to the un stating that it is time for the un to step in and solve the world's problems, (specifically mentioning the economy and hunger crisis worldwide.).
barrack obama is shaping up to be the next president, a fellow who sure knows how to persuade and lead great crowds.

by nvrgnbk inif you can't perceive my existence you're not really looking.. there are special people that can.
don't be bothered by the fact that these people can't agree on anything about me.. the point is that they believe and that's good enough for me.. how shall i reward them?
i'll be there when they're suffering.. watching.. admiring their faith.. though they disagree about how their faith will ultimately work out, it makes life easier for them somehow.. the poor fools that don't know me are left to suffer all by themselves.. you're all going to die.. wouldn't it be eaiser to face your fate knowing i was watching it all, permitting it all, and occasionally scourging a little too for good measure?

This is very true. God affects public policy. Atheist do not know everything I keep saying so there are realy no atheist, only agnostics.

I think ultimately the person who needs to prove something isn't the believer or the nonbeliever; it's God. When he can prove his existence, then there will be no athiests. And, since God is purportedly a supreme being who is all-powerful, that shouldn't be a hard thing for him to do. Until that happens, I think the atheists are winning the argument by default. Thats where your wrong! Look around you. You have eyes but do not see. The glorious God is the only ruler, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At the time that God has already decided, he will send Jesus christ back again. Only God lives forever! And he lives in light that no one man can come near. No human has ever seen God or ever can see him. God will be honored, and his power will last forever. Amen. Warn the rich people of this world not to be proud or to trust in wealth that is easily lost. Tell them to have faith in God, who is rich and blesses us with everything we need to enjoy life. In- struct them to do as many good deeds as they can and to help everyone. Re- mind the rich to be generous and share what they have. This will lay a soild foundation for the future, so that they will know what true life is like. Timothy, guard what God has placed in your care! Don't pay any attention to that godless and stupid talk that sounds smart but really isnt. Some people have even lost their faith by believing this talk. I pray that the Lord will be kind to all of you!

im very sorry to read your story. i am also sorry you lost faith in God. It is not easy believing anything when you are being abused and mistreated. it seems that you are deeply wounded and i want you to know that only Jesus can heal those wounds. you may not want to hear this but I must tell you. I hope you have gotten some counseling and have a Bible to read. bad things happen to all of us whether we are good or bad. We must keep our faith and let no one take it from us.

Why is man always trying to determine what God does as far as his creation as to whether he is loving towards them or not? If you were God how would you do it? Oh, I see you are not God so stop trying to establish his love. Your brain does not have the capabilities. You need to be worried about your salvation so that if you are saved you can ask God questions one day.
There are many things about God that we don't understand. Do you know everything about anything?

God controls everything. Satan has limited powers. Don't think Satan didn't want to stop this event. I believe he is smart but he cannot go beyond what God allows. Like Jesus told Pilate you can only do what my Father allows.
